Copper Table

My take on a Living Room coffee table.  Made to store magazines, games, etc. beneath the table top, this table is made from construction scrap, using a laminated shelf supported by 1/2”  copper pipe couplings inset into the legs.

The idea is that the top will patina and end up blending with the surrounding woods, which are mostly mahogany, with oak on the floor.  The photo at left shows the patina process mid-way to the final color.
